What you are buying
A report of what public sources and AI models say about you, and, on a subscription, our work asking the sources you mark to remove it.
What we promise, and what we do not
- We send the requests you mark, keep a copy of every one, and chase the deadline.
- We cannot guarantee removal. Whether a page comes down is the publisher's decision, and in many cases the law gives them exemptions.
- We cannot remove you from a model. See our privacy page for why.
- Data that has been removed can reappear. That is why the subscription re-scans.
Only for yourself
You may only scan an email address you control, and you must give your own legal name in the authorisation. Using Cartograph to investigate another person is not permitted and is not technically possible.
Refunds
All payments are final. We do not refund a scan, a report or a paid period, and that includes a report that finds nothing about you, because the search runs either way. This is stated here and next to the price before you pay. If you want to see what we find before you buy the report, run the free scan first.
Withdrawal, if you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK
The paragraph above does not take away a statutory right, and in the EU, the EEA and the UK you have one. You may withdraw from this contract within 14 days of agreeing to it, without giving a reason. Write to support@usecartograph.com and say so; a sentence is enough.
Our work starts immediately, which is why we ask you to confirm that at checkout. Once you do, two things follow. Your right to withdraw ends when the work is finished. If you withdraw while it is still running, you pay only for the part we have already done, and we return the rest.
We cannot undo a removal request that has already been sent, and withdrawing does not recall one. That is the practical limit, and it is the reason we ask before we start rather than after.
Cancelling
Cancel a subscription at any time; it runs to the end of the period you paid for. Withdrawing your authorisation stops future requests but cannot recall ones already sent.
