These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cartograph Shopify app ("Service") provided by Cartograph ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
By installing Cartograph from the Shopify App Store or accessing usecartograph.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Cartograph is a Shopify app that monitors AI shopping agent traffic on your storefront, scores your products for agent-readiness, and provides tools to optimize your listings for the agentic commerce ecosystem. Features include:
You must be a Shopify merchant with an active Shopify store to use Cartograph. You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind any business on whose behalf you use the Service.
Access to Cartograph is provided through Shopify's OAuth authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
Cartograph offers tiered subscription plans (Free, Growth, Agency). Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify's billing system. All fees are listed in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes.
You agree not to:
The Cartograph name, logo, dashboard, algorithms, and all associated software are the intellectual property of Cartograph. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription term.
You retain ownership of your store data, product catalog, and any content you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service.
Our collection and use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SPECIFIC RESULTS WILL BE ACHIEVED FROM USING IT. AI-GENERATED PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE SUGGESTIONS ONLY — YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING BEFORE PUBLISHING.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARTOGRAPH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold Cartograph harmless from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email associated with your Shopify account or through an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hamburg, Germany.
