Is Incogni worth it?
It depends on where you live and what you are worried about. Incogni costs $96 a year, covers 420 data brokers, and does one thing competently: it sends opt-out requests and reports their status. If you are in California, the state's own free request already reaches every registered broker, so you are paying mainly for the ones that never registered and for someone else to repeat the work. If what worries you is what a stranger or an AI assistant can assemble about you, that is not what it measures.
The short answer
Outside California, yes, if the classic broker list is your worry and you want somebody else to keep at it. Inside California, probably not, because the state now does the largest part free and enforces it better than any private company can.
What it does not measure
A status list is not proof. It says a request was sent, not that the answer about you changed. And none of these services look at what a model says when somebody asks about you, which is increasingly the first place a stranger looks. The AI half.

- When you live in California. One free state request already reaches every registered broker, and 398 of the 503 sources we track are registered. You would be paying mainly for the rest and for the repetition.
- Does it remove me from search engines or AI answers?
- No. It works broker and people-search lists. A Google result is a separate route, and what an AI assistant says about you is a third one.
- Is there human help when a broker refuses?
- Not on this one. DeleteMe puts a person on difficult cases, Kanary escalates on its higher tier, and Incogni is automated throughout.
- You sell a competing product. Why should I trust this page?
